Values

Being a Community of Love and Grace

We value being a community of people who have received and been set free by the Grace of God and as a result we are attempting to love God and love people extravagantly.  We strive to be a church that welcomes people where they are, no matter what!  Our goal is to embody the love of God through Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit to everyone who comes in contact with our church, whether inside the church walls, or outside!

Worship

We value the presence of the living God and believe God can be encountered by everyone who seeks to find Him.  We desire to create spaces and environments where people can worship God through music, prayer, the preaching and teaching of the word and other liturgical (fancy word for church born and created) practices.

Relevant Teaching

We value relevant bible teaching and spiritual formation.  We work hard to provide practical, culturally relevant, bible-soaked messages on a weekly basis to help spur people on to Kingdom of God centered living.  We strive to integrate that teaching and preaching into our spiritual formation and discipleship programs so that this Kingdom living is 24 hours, 7 days a week and not just one hour on Sunday.

Children and Youth

We value children and youth.  We invest time, resources, and energy in the discipleship and development of children and youth in our community to help them live Kingdom centered lives and encourage them to grow in stature with God and people.

Service and Giving

We value sacrificial service and giving.  We are a community of believers that partners together for the gospel.  We are small, but growing, and require everyone to pitch in and give all they’ve got.  We are the church to come to if you want to serve and give of yourself, but probably not if you want to be anonymous and sit in the back and go unnoticed!

Outward Focus

We value people who are not with us yet and who are not in the Kingdom yet!  Because of this, we make great efforts to focus on others and serve people outside the church.  We conduct outreach projects aimed at our surrounding area in Mason and Warren County.  We connect with local missions and relief organizations to provide volunteer resources and whatever other resources we might have available.  We aim to never get stuck focused on ourselves.  Our life groups (small groups) aim to be missional groups.
